Wilder Research Center and Excensus LLC are working together to develop a simple, rich source of demographic data for small, local areas - like neighborhoods.

Current geographic coverage

Currently we cover the entire City of Saint Paul, including its 17 planning districts. Our future plans include coverage for all of Ramsey County and, depending on funding and community interest, the City of Minneapolis and other parts of the metro area.

Products and services

The main thrust of Community DataWorks is to provide free and easy access to neighborhood-level demographics and housing information.

Data on the web - On this web site we deliver a lot of neighborhood-level data for Saint Paul. Please let us know about ways we could make the web site easier to use, or other types of information that you would like to see included.

Training sessions for community groups and the public, equipping people to access, understand, and use the data.

Presentations to community groups highlighting local demographics important to their work.

Helpline to provide coaching and assistance with using the web site and interpreting the data.

Annual neighborhood profiles, published and available to the public.
